The No Writing Way™ will help you feel supported, confident, and hopeful about your child’s writing again. The Spring 2025 live round of Foundations for Writing officially starts 14th April.
Perhaps you’re on a long waitlist for OT, you’ve tried OT and it didn’t help much, or you’ve been told to “wait and see.”
as your child builds the underlying strength & coordination needed to write
of your child’s writing difficulties helped you confidently build their sensory & motor skills
to develop your child’s foundational skills helped them choose and want to write
for your child’s needs with school & family
These results are possible for you and your child with the right instruction and support, which you’ll find when you join us during the next round of the Foundations for Writing program.
“I have a better understanding of the things that need to be in place to support my child in developing his writing skills when he is ready, and that is reassuring.
I can see developments and progress in his gross and fine motor skills and his confidence with these. I have appreciated that we have been able to go at a pace that is right for my child, particularly as we are very child led.”
-Mum BD
I’m a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and have helped children’s sensory processing and motor skills for writing for 25+ years.
I’m also a mum to my own sensory kid so I have first-hand experience being a sensory parent. (Including the overwhelm, judgment from others, and wondering if we’re on the right path!)
Through it all, he teaches and inspires me.
1) I know what it’s like to feel alone and unheard by professionals, not knowing where to get support for your child.
2) Too many struggling writers are given more writing practice, fine motor exercises, or pencil grips….but it doesn’t help and the child’s self-esteem begins to suffer.
This is NOT the future for your child!
I’m here to help YOU help your child develop their foundational skills for writing through fun and connection so your child can write with ease, joy and confidence.
I believe kids are doing the best they can with what they have. Once they develop the right underlying sensory and motor skills they need, they then choose and want to write because they now have the skills to do so.
I also believe that as parents you have a gut instinct and deep intuition of how best to help your child. As a fellow parent, I know that nobody is as invested as we are in our own child.
“Munira has been been so warm and approachable from day one of contacting her. Felt very happy and comfortable working with her as she guides and demonstrates so well throughout the course.
My son’s changes are visible and how he has become more confident in doing daily tasks, he found difficult before.
I feel so empowered as I understand how to support my son better. Would highly recommend this course to all parents who want to help their child and themselves.”

No problem…..here’s some answers.
I cannot recommend the Foundations for Writing course enough. Munira is a fountain of knowledge who has such a wonderful way of explaining things. She cares deeply about your child and you, and has really helped me see things differently. Since working with Munira my son has started drawing and writing in a notebook at bed time every night and that to me is such a happy thing and a big leap for us.
As a physician and the father of a daughter with Down syndrome, I look at three areas when choosing a therapist — (1) skill and experience, (2) dedication and (3) personality fit. Munira is one of those rare individuals whose tremendous talent combined with unwavering dedication and passion to help children reach their true potential and a friendly, easy-going personality combine to make her a truly exceptional OT. Our daughter is doing extremely well and my wife and I credit a large part of this to the wonderful work that Munira did with her.
Munira possesses “the winning treatment combination” which produces results: valuable clinical knowledge, incredible skill & expertise, endless patience, and a wonderful way of relating to children. I wholeheartedly recommend Munira; your child will love her. And, as a parent, you will be hard-pressed to find a better expert in their field.
We were lucky enough to work regularly with Munira for nearly 12 years from when Henri was 10 months old. I cannot begin to describe what a difference this has made to our lives. Henri is now a thriving, happy boy, with the confidence to do things that many professionals told us he wouldn't have been able to do. Henri wouldn't be where he is today if it wasn't for Munira. I can tell you from the bottom of my heart, that you don't need to look any further.
